Position Description

LifeEnergy is looking for a highly motivated team player to bring knowledge of deregulated energy markets and execution excellence to LifeEnergy.

The individual will be responsible for execution within the following areas: pricing analysis, product structuring, management reporting and ad hoc requests based on the needs of the business.

The individual will also perform duties in the area of Lead List Management to identify, propose, and manage lead list vendors, ensuring that the D2D, Telemarketing, and other channels have leads based on market segmentation, credit scoring, and value analysis.

Additional duties will include financial planning by assisting the Director/VP with creating and maintaining all plans including sales, customer counts, churn, budgets, resources and actual spending.

The individual must have the ability to except new responsibilities and work well in an ever-changing, dynamic atmosphere.

Reporting Relationship

The individual will report to the Director or VP Sales.  The success of this individual will depend on his or her ability to build relationships in a start-up environment while developing dynamic reporting and performing analysis based on the needs of the business.  In addition to the VP Sales & Marketing, other critical relationships will include:

  • Director, Product Structuring & Risk
  • VP Operations
  • Director/VP Sales

 The Analyst will be responsible for the development of analytical reporting in support of all Sales and Marketing functions within the business.

 Experience Required

  • 2+ years experience in business analytical reporting
  • Experience in deregulated retail industries is a plus
  • Experience in successfully developing analytical reporting to achieve business objectives
  • Demonstrated success in the development of analytical dashboards as it relates to tracking the success within channels and operational plans
  • Understanding as it relates to marketing analysis and regulatory requirements a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate and influence at all levels across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze and recommend pricing strategies in order to stay competitive
  • Experience in the maintenance of historical pricing data
  • Ability to lead research for new products, product enhancements, and product redesign, as well as evaluate the potential and practicality of products in development

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or 2+ years experience
  • Must be a US Citizen, or hold a valid work visa that does not require sponsorship in order to legally work full-time in the United States
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a sense of personal initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and advanced reporting tools
  • Advanced database administration skills
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Advanced report automation skills

Functional Requirements

  • Develop analytical reporting by day, week, month, and year(s) and drive reporting of results in a timely manner
  • Develop relationships and closely monitor the success of sales and retention performance to identify and improve channel efficiency and effectiveness
  • Generate new report design, pricing analysis, product structuring and lead list management
  • Create dynamic self-executed reporting to track sales, retention and operation plan performance
  • Support the business with all analytical reporting and ad hoc requests
